TECHNOLOGY INCUBATOR
A modern Technology Incubator facility with an area of 8,000 m² is located in Invest-Park Białogard. It offers lease of production and office space ranging from 360 m² to 2,000 m². The advantages of the Technology Incubator in Białogard are well-equipped and attractively located infrastructure which provides enterprises with the conditions to run their business with the use of modern technology and attractive rental conditions.
The Incubator offers to entrepreneurs of the metal working industry, not only lease of production space but also services of Powder Coating Shop.
A video conferencing centre is also available to investors, which enables quick and efficient contact with a business partner.
For the time being, 7 companies currently operate within the Incubator and together they employ 400 persons. Foreign investors occupy the largest area in the Incubator, including the international group Valassis Communication, which moved its branch from Great Britain and the Norwegian company SBC Windows & Doors.
For the construction and technological equipment of the Incubator, the Association obtained the funds from the European Union, the Polish Government as well as local governments. The project was launched in 2007 and was completed in 2008. The construction costs of the facility and its equipment amounted to PLN 14 million.
In 2009 the Technology Incubator in Białogard was awarded the prestigious prize in the Investment of the Year 2009 category. The prize was awarded by the Polish Federation of the Engineering Associations - an organisation of Polish Engineers and Technicians with 170 years of tradition.
The technological partner of the Incubator in Białogard is the Koszalin University of Technology - the largest technical university in Central Pomerania.

EUROPEAN UNION PROJECTS
Białogard Invest-Park Sp. z o.o. implements a project co-financed from the European Funds “Development of Entrepreneurship in the Koszalin-Kołobrzeg-Białogard Functional Area (KKBOF) by providing utilities for the Białogard Investment Park in Białogard”
Project objective: Better conditions for SME development by increasing the attractiveness and accessibility of investment zones within the KKBOF.
Project co-financing from the EU: PLN 637,500.00
The material scope of the project includes the following tasks:
1. Construction of a public exit from the national road No. 163,
2. Construction of an internal road with drainage and technical infrastructure (road lighting installation, water supply and sanitary sewage system, telecom and IT system).
3. Conversion of the 15 kV overhead line to the terrestrial cable line.
4. Delivery and assembly of container transformer station.
The container transformer station will not be equipped with transformers or measuring system with transformers. The station will be equipped with a transformer and a measuring system as well as a connection to the external network at the time of acquiring the investor.
The objective of the project is to improve the attractiveness of the investment zone in Białogard, located within the KKBOF by developing the investment areas. As a result of improvement of the zone infrastructure, an increase in the level of investment and entrepreneurship on the local market is expected, which will contribute to reducing the level of unemployment and increasing the level of income of residents. The socio-economic benefits planned to be achieved as a result of the project include: - increase in the level of entrepreneurship in the commune, - improvement of the situation on the labour market and increase of the residents' income, - increase of the town's income on property tax and interest of income taxes, - development opportunities for existing companies by establishing cooperation with new investors and a possibility of diffusion of know-how and new technologies.

TOWN OF BIAŁOGARD
Białogard is a town with 25,000 residents situated in the Province of West Pomeranian. Located about 30 km from Koszalin, at the intersection of important national communication routes, near the sea and ports of Kołobrzeg and Darłowo, it is a good place to live and do business.
Białogard is the largest railway junction in Central Pomerania. Every day, about 70 passenger and several freight trains run through the Białogard station. From here, you can directly reach major centres in the country. A national road (No. 163) runs through the town, in the direction of Kołobrzeg - Połczyn Zdrój - Czaplinek - Wałcz - Poznań and the road Białogard - Koszalin (No. 166). The national road Szczecin - Gdańsk (No. 6) runs 8 km north of the town. The nearest airports are: Szczecin-Goleniów (95 km), Gdańsk (220 km) and Berlin (300 km).
